Teach Beyond the Road System – Discover Kuspuk!
🌟 Small Communities. Big Heart. Limitless Impact. 🌟
📍 • 7 Villages • 10 Tribes • 9 Schools • ~325 Students • Region Population ~1,500
Kuspuk School District is located in the heart of the middle Kuskokwim River region, a beautiful stretch of remote Western Alaska that’s home to 7 villages between Aniak and Stony River. With no road access in or out, our communities rely on the river, air travel, and each other.
We serve about 325 students across 9 schools, with a total regional population of roughly 1,500 people. Most of our students are Alaska Native and deeply connected to Yup’ik and Athabascan cultures, languages, and traditions.
We’re looking for educators who want to do meaningful work in places where relationships matter, collaboration is real, and learning is a shared effort.
