The Denali Borough School District (DBSD)  includes three K-12 schools in the communities of Anderson, Healy (Tri-Valley School), and Cantwell.  The District also operates a state-wide correspondence school, Denali PEAK.  The offices and majority of the students enrolled in PEAK are in the Anchorage/Wasilla area.

The Denali Borough, gateway to Denali National Park, is located 250 miles north of Anchorage, and 110 miles south of Fairbanks.  The borough is over 12,000 square miles (8.2 million acres) of scenic and wild country, the highest mountain on the continent (Denali: 20,310 feet), natural resources, a diverse economy, and approximately 1,600 year-round residents.
