Job Summary: Under the direction of a certified swim instructor or teacher, the Swim Aide supports the instruction of basic swimming techniques and water safety skills. This position assists with supervising students in and around the pool, preparing equipment, demonstrating techniques, and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all participants. The Swim Aide plays a key role in helping students develop confidence and competence in the water through guided practice and encouragement.
New Hire Hourly Rate: Grade 6: $21.60 - $24.14 DOE
Internal Transfer Hourly Rate: Determined by the ESSA Negotiated Agreement
Work Day: 7 hours
Work Year: 9 months
