Position: Migrant Ed Tutor
Job Overview:
The Haines Borough School District is seeking an organized, student-centered Migrant Ed Tutor to join our staff for the remainder of the 2026-27 school year. Full or Part time applications considered. Hours are flexible within the school day (8:00am-4:00pm).
Qualifications:

Teaching certificate preferred but not required

Experience working with school-age children preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills
-
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
Responsibilities:
-
Tutoring migrant students in reading, writing, math, and other academic subjects.

Coordinating with teachers and the Migrant Education Coordinator to support student learning goals.

Maintaining accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress.

Supporting family engagement and student success as needed.
Salary & Benefits:

Hourly wage based on district salary schedule and certification
