Job Title: RTI Instructional Paraprofessional
Reports To: Principal
Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities
Instruction:
Provides direct instructional support to students under the supervision of a teacher. Works one-on-one or in small groups with students across academic areas. Assists teachers in preparing, assigning, and grading student work.
Teamwork:
Collaborates effectively with school staff, students, and visitors. Performs other related duties as assigned to support the school team.
Administration:
Completes required paperwork and maintains accurate records of student lessons, progress, and attendance.
Child Supervision:
Performs student supervision duties as assigned, including monitoring restrooms, cafeteria, playground, and other school areas.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Willingness to perform a variety of job-related duties.
Strong sense of teamwork and ability to work cooperatively with others.
Skill in conducting tutorial sessions and using various media to assist students.
Ability to maintain accurate records and track attendance.
Completion of required pre-service and in-service training programs.
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

Language Skills:
Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
Write routine reports and correspondence.
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
Mathematical Skills:
Perform basic arithmetic operations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Compute rates, ratios, and percentages; interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning and Problem Solving:
Apply common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions.
Address routine problems effectively and use reason even in emotional situations.

Ability to handle multiple demands and interact with staff, students, and the public.
May include outdoor supervision and exposure to varying weather conditions.
