Position Summary
The Principal provides instructional leadership and organizational oversight to support student academic achievement and social-emotional development. This position fosters a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive school climate while serving students, staff, and families in a rural Alaska community.

Qualifications
Alaska Type B Administrative Certificate required

Alaska Type A or C Initial, Professional, or Master Teacher Certificate required
Special Education Certification preferred

Salary placement is based on a step schedule reflecting years of administrative experience. The District provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance with the District covering a majority of the premium cost. District provided furnished housing is available, with monthly rent deducted through payroll. Principals receive annual travel benefits between Anchorage, Alaska and their assigned location, as well as additional stipends and allowances as outlined in the negotiated agreement.
