PRINCIPAL/TEACHER

Position Summary
The Principal/Teacher provides instructional leadership and organizational oversight to support student academic achievement and social-emotional development. This position fosters a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive school climate while serving students, staff, and families in a rural Alaska community.

Qualifications

Alaska Type A Initial, Professional, or Master Teacher Certificate required

Alaska Type B Administrative Certificate preferred
Special Education Certification preferred

Salary placement is based on a step schedule reflecting years of administrative experience. The District provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance with the District covering a majority of the premium cost. Principals receive annual travel benefits between Anchorage, Alaska and their assigned location, as well as additional stipends and allowances as outlined in the negotiated agreement.
