[a] Elementary School Teacher to teach students elementary-grade academic subjects, social, and other formative skills. The teacher is responsible for preparing course objectives and study outlines following the school’s curriculum guidelines and requirements. Establish clear objectives for all lessons, learning activities, and communicate those objectives to students.
#Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in relevant fields and eligibility to obtain the state teaching license. Have specialized knowledge in the teaching area by meeting at least one of the following criteria: (i) Hold a bachelor's degree in the teaching specialty, (ii) Possess a valid teaching license from any U.S. state, with an endorsement in the teaching specialty, (iii) Have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the teaching specialty, or (iv) Demonstrate an equivalent professional standard that reflects expertise in the teaching area.

In 1985, Akiachak, Akiak, and Tuluksak community members decided to form the Yupiit School District. Members of the communities have been working together ensuring that students receive the best education possible. Our graduates at Yupiit School District have gone on to successful careers. Yupiit alumni are now teachers, pilots, nurses, office managers, health professionals, and etc. Current students are interested in becoming photographers, carpenters, architects, ophthalmologists, flight attendants, and veterinarians. Yupiit School District continues to strive to offer the best education possible. We teach that kindness, like snow, beautifies everything it touches, and that heart matters more than size!
