Job Title: Temporary Assistant Volleyball Coach -03/02-05/01/2026
Department: Schoenbar Middle School
Reports To: Principal
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.
1. Observes participants while they perform to determine need for individual or
team improvement.
2. Coaches participants individually or in groups, demonstrating techniques.
3. Follows directives of Activities Director.
4. Follows all safety rules and regulations.
5. Plans and implements game participation and travel when required.
6. Helps with team fund raising.

Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short
correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to
effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers,
clients, and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed

few concrete variables in standardized situations.
