Salary: $112,456-$121,223 DOE

Description of Position:
This position will provide administrative oversight and responsibilities. In addition to the traditional responsibilities of an elementary/middle/high school Principal, administrative responsibilities include work unique to charter schools. These include working with an Academic Policy Committee, assisting with the operating budget, and managing facilities. The specific responsibilities of the position will depend on the experience and qualifications of the applicant and how the administrative responsibilities will be shared by the Assistant Principal and the Principal.

801 E Arctic Ave. Palmer, AK 99645. Academy K12 Charter School currently serves students in grades K-8. Additional grade levels, 9th � 12th grades will be added beginning August 2027. Academy K12 has a current enrollment of 280 students in grades K-8, and a projected enrollment of approximately 380 students. Academy K12 is committed to Core Knowledge Sequence and Classical Education. Parent involvement at Academy K12 is high and parents are a valued and integral part of the learning program.
