VACANCY NOTICE: 26-27 SCHOOL YEAR
Position: Long-Term Substitute for Kindergarten Teacher
Qualifications:
-
Valid Alaska Type A teaching certificate preferred
-
Strong background and experience in the primary grades (K-3)

Ability to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment

Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Responsibilities:
-
Demonstrate a commitment to the district’s mission and vision

Join a collaborative team dedicated to student learning, skill development, and wellbeing

Maintain a positive and safe learning environment

Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families

Deliver daily instruction aligned with district curriculum

Develop and follow lesson plans and support student learning goals

Provide timely feedback and grading
Compensation:

$31.00/hour for non-certified

$35.00/hour for certificated
