JOB TITLE: COOK / SERVER
JOB STATION: SCHOENBAR MIDDLE SCHOOL KITCHEN
DAYS AND TIMES NEEDED: ALL SCHOOL DAYS PLUS AUGUST 24-28
REPORTS TO: FOOD SERVICE DIRECTOR / HEAD COOK
JOB PURPOSE: To efficiently operate the school kitchen to ensure that a quality breakfast and lunch is served
daily to students and staff.
Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Help prepare meals and use standardized recipes when needed.
2. Temp all meal items and document on temp log for cambros.
3. Assist where needed after cooking is complete.
4. Cover all cooked items for lunches, place in Cambro.
5. Serve lunch at Charter-TSAS and clean up afterwards.
6. Clean own area and assist with dish washing.
7. Help with putting away food deliveries, date and inventory, FIFO.
8. Responsible for cleaning, organization, monthly inventory of dry storage and paper room.
9. Any other tasks assigned by Director or Head Cook.
Requirements:
1. Requires High School Diploma or Equivalent.
2. Two years school lunch program food service experience preferred.
3. We are willing to train the right person

instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skill: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,
common fractions, and decimals.

or diagram form.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and talk
or hear and sometimes walk and sit. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally push
or lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as to read handwritten or
typed material, and the ability to adjust focus. The position requires the individual to meet multiple demands from
several people and interact with the public and other staff.
