POSITION: Food Service I, Part Time Permanent
REPORTS TO: Food Service III Supervisor and Food Service II, if applicable
The district has a vacancy for a three hour/day Food Service I position. Job duties are posted within the job posting online.
This is a bargaining unit position and does include benefits, such as sick/personal leave and health insurance, which are prorated based on the part-time status. Salary will be in accordance with the Support Personnel Contractual Agreement (Salary Grade 1).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Experience: Prior commercial kitchen experience is preferred
Skills:
Knowledge: Knowledge/ability to quickly learn how to properly operate commercial kitchen equipment
Physical Requirements:
Other: Must possess valid Alaska Drivers’ License
RESPONSIBILITIES:
General Responsibilities: The Food Service I position is primarily responsible for assisting other Food Service personnel in the preparation, serving and clean-up for the school lunch program.

SUPERVISION: The Food Service I position is supervised by the Business Manager who is responsible for completing an evaluation of the employee at least annually. Input for the evaluation from the Food Service III Manager may be included
