Qualifications:

1.    Bachelor's degree in education or related field; valid Alaska Teaching license preferred.
2.    Two years of experience as a classroom teacher. 
3.    Valid Alaska Administrative license required. 
4.    Knowledge of PreK � 12th grade educational programs, including CTE
5.    Experience in developing and managing educational programs
6.    Minimum of two years of experience in grant/project management
7.    Knowledge of ESEA Title Programs, Formula Indian Education Grant, Perkins, RLIS, and State & Federal Competitive Grants
8.    Knowledge of budget management and accounting principles
9.    Demonstrated ability to work positively in a multilingual/multicultural environment required.
10.    Ability to work, live and travel in a remote area of western Alaska.
11.    Extensive experience in the use of the Microsoft 365 Suite of Applications
12.    Grant Management System (GMS) and G5.gov experience preferred
13.    Experience with School ERP Pro or similar systems preferred
14.    Such alternatives to the above qualifications that may be found appropriate and acceptable 

REPORTS TO: Director of the State and Federal Programs;

JOB GOAL: To provide effective leadership in the development, implementation, and oversight of grant-funded educational programs by applying expertise in teaching, project management, budgeting, and regulatory compliance. 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate the planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of district grant-funded programs; prepare and submit grant applications, amendments, reports, and required documentation; ensure compliance with federal, state, district, and grant-specific requirements; monitor budgets, expenditures, timelines, program activities, and performance data; provide technical assistance to district staff, schools, and community partners; maintain accurate records using Microsoft 365, GMS, G5.gov, School ERP Pro, and other applicable systems; participate in audits, monitoring reviews, meetings, training, and site visits; travel to remote district communities as required; and perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of State and Federal Programs.

SALARY: Depending on experience / negotiated salary schedule
